Protein packed egg muffins

Eggs are incredibly nutritious and economical ,This comes with 77 calories, 6 grams of protein and 5 grams of healthy fats . The protein and fats in eggs helps to keep you satisfied for longer and reduces cravings from eating other snacks.  People who eat eggs for breakfast  lose weight faster . It is true that eggs do contain cholesterol,  this cholesterol do not show any effect on your cholesterol levels and it's proven.  Include eggs in breakfast for your teenage girls and growing boys .

Ingredients I used

Chicken - 4 to 5 pieces
Eggs - 4
Capsicum chopped - 3 to 4 tbsp
Sweet corn kennels - 4 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1tbs
Garlic chopped - 1tbs
Salt - according to taste
Oil - 2tbs

Method

Keeping flame on medium ,place a tawa on the flame when tawa gets heated add oil to fry chicken pieces , after a minute aprinkle salt and pepper .fry chicken pieces turning both sides till they slightly brown , this may take 5 mins. After frying transfer in to a plate and let the pieces cool for a while ,when cooled chop in to small pieces
Now break eggs in a wide bowl add chicken pieces chopped capsicum , corn ,salt , pepper and chopped garlic now mix enery thing nicely.

  Grease muffin moulds with oil and  with the help of a ladle pour a ladle full of egg mixture in to muffin moulds.
Preheat oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 5mins after 5mins place the muffin moulds into the oven and bake for 15min at 180degrees centigrade

 Done , rest for 2mins in the oven , take out and transfer into a serving plate
 Serve hot with a glass of juice or smoothie😊

Carrot ragi porridge hor healthy weight loss

Ravi is a finger millet common in South India, major portion of is carbohydrate followed by protein and dietary fiber , ragi is rich in mineral calcium for our healthy bones and also have iron , it is the better option instead of rice and chapati . Ragi helps in losing weight and helps in shedding extra calories . I also added carrots to this which makes highly nutritious and tasty too.

Ingredients I used
Ragi flour  - 1/2 cup
Carrots - 2
Jeera - 2tbs
Oil - 1tbs
Curry leaves few
Water - 3 cups
Buttermilk- 1glass
Salt - according to taste

Method
Take ragi flour in a bowl mix with 1/2 cup water to make paste and keep aside


Keeping flame on medium place a thick bottomed vessel on flame , let the vessel gets heated
Now add oil ,when heated add jeera, chopped carrots, and curry leaves , toss for while till nice aroma releases
Now add water and salt

Cover and cook for 5 mins till carrots sofens
Carrots are half cooked now drop in kept a side ragi paste in to boiling carrots

Mix with laddle to prevent forming from lumps Cook till mixture forms a paste with out any lumps, if paste is too thick u can add more water and loosen the paste


Cooked , let porridge cool completely 

After completely cooling down add buttermilk
Mix well with out any lumps
Done , enjoy wholesome of goodness
