Beetròot rasam

Beetroots firstly I like velvety pink color of this vegetable , beetroots are rich in folate , vitamins  minerals and also fiber which helps in weight loss. Beetroot has beauty benefits too , this works with in and on the surface of skin too . Drinking a glass of juice removes toxins and leaving you healthy and glowing skin. Applying on the surface will remove dead cells and make you look younger and glowing.

 Ingredients I used

Beetroot - 1 big
Curry leaves - 3 to 4 strings
Coriander leaves - hand full
Rasam powder - 2 tbs
Salt - according to taste
Lemon - 2
Hing - a pinch
Water - 3 big glasses
Pressed garlic - 5pods
Mustard , jeera and dry chilli for tampering

Method
Wash peal and grate beetroot . Now transfer grated beetroot in to thick bottomed vessel , to this add curry leaves, chopped Coriander leaves , rasam powder and salt

Add water and turmeric
Keeping flame on medium , place on stove
Let rasam bring to boil (do not over cook)
Take out of  the stove and strain the pulp
Extracted beetroot water , keep a side
Rince same vessel under tap , keeping flame on medium place the vessel on stove  and add 2 tbs of oil, when oil gets heated tamper , when you hear splattering sound add pressed garlic curry leaves and coriander leaves and  hing ,fry for 30sec .
When tampering releases nice aroma it's time to add beetroot water now immediately switch the flame , keep aside and let rasam cool for a while
After 10mins squeeze lemon in to rasam , taste it and adjust taste by adding salt and lemon (if required). Now your rasam is done.
Serve hot with rice😊 . This is so tasty and u don't taste and feel any beetroot flavour. It's super healthy, give this a try and let me know how you like .
