Chicken biryani with leftover chicken curry

Today my daughter asked me to prepare some thing special for lunch,I opened my fridge and was thinking about the possibilities I could make easily with less ingredients, with less effort and that should be her favourite so got an idea and took out Sundays left over chicken curry and started making , it was so easy and turned out so tasty

Ingredients I used

Left over chicken curry (May be 250gms)
Curd - 1cup
Red chilli powder - 2tbs
Turmeric powder - 1tbs
Biryani Masala powder - 1tbs
Pudina leaves
Fried onion
Rice - 3 cups
Ghee and oil

Method

Firstly I chopped 3 onions and fried till golden brown mean while  I soaked rice(I used regular rice u can use basmati rice also) and cook on high flame till half boiled and strained and kept a side .

Take curd in a bowl , to it add turmeric,  red chilli powder, salt, biryani Masala, fried onion and chopped Coriander leaves and now mix everything nicely

To this add chicken curry

Now take a thick bottomed pan and now keep flame on medium and add ghee into the pan

Now transfer marinated chicken curry in to heated pan and let curry cook for 5mins
After 5mins marinated chicken will turn to rich thick gravy now it's time to add half boiled rice

Now keep flame on simmer and Mix curry and rice together nicely and top up with fresh mint leaves , fried onion and ghee

Cover the pot and place on a tawa now keep flame on simmer and cook for 30mins

After 30mins open lid it's done

Note
U can add basmati rice instead of normal rice
Be careful while addind salt because curry has already salt
U can squeeze a lemon while marination
