Wheat oats uthappam

Uthappam with oats and wheat flour , sounds good right . Oats are low in calorie ,rich in antioxidants, lowers cholesterol and keeps you full and helps in weight lossand high in soluble fibre and same with wheat flour and I combined these super ingredients to make super tasty uthapam. 

Ingredients I used 

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Oats - 1/2cup
Bombay rava - 2tbs
Buttermilk  - 1cup
Jeera - 1tbs
Eno - 1tbs 
Salt (according to your taste)
Chopped onion , chopped Coriander and shredded carrot , chopped tomato for topping
Oil

Method

Take a bowl , goes in wheat flour ,oats, rava ,salt and jeera
 Now add buttermilk
Whisk with out any lumps,if needed u can add water 
Batter should not be runny, it should be thick (dropping consistency)
Now add 1tbs spoon of eno
Now your batter looks airy forming bubbles and done with batter ,keep a side (no need of resting)
Keep flame on medium high and let tawa gets heated now drizzle oil on tawa
Pour a laddle full of batter on a heated pan 
Spread out the batter

Now apply little oil and add your toppings
When sides turns brown it's time to flip uthapam 
For extra crisp again flip and fry for another half minute
Done , serve hot with peanut chutney
